Preliminary remarks on this genealogy

The majority of the data recorded here comes from family records. These are diaries, memoirs, documents and photos. Some information comes from books that deal with the places and circumstances of my ancestors. Furthermore, I have collected everything that has been done to me from the immediate and wider family. Of course, I also do research on the internet. For financial reasons it is not possible for me to verify all the names and data that I find on the internet on site (parish registers, archives, etc.). Therefore, I am sure that some of the data collected here is faulty. From my point of view, these partly erroneous data are better than no data. I can correct the mistakes if I know better. At the moment I can not change that.
Even the data and facts mentioned in books on named ancestors of mine, which deal with the living conditions of my ancestors from Bessarabia and southern Russia, are partly wrong.
If you also want to see the protected (confidential) data you have to register once. The registration alone is not enough. You also have to explain why you want to see the confidential data, eg: suspected or actual relationship. Personal data of living persons, sources, notes, etc. According to your reasoning, the granted right of access will be granted and confirmed with an e-mail addressed to the adress.
Family members known to me do not need to provide a reason in their access request. The registration day is on the top right next to the default start person.
Here are mainly names and dates of persons related to me (Jörg Brauer) are related. Thus, the surnames BRAUER and KLUDT are in the majority.
In general, only my ancestors are listed here in direct line, that is, all ancestors and relatives with the name Brauer, Kludt and their spouse I could identify. Furthermore, the siblings of the aforementioned persons and some other descendants.
Except for one case, I have not written further names and dates (beyond the 3rd to 5th generation), if the relationship is too broad.
The exception relates to the extensive relationship of the brewer's clan from the Westerwald with the Landgraves of Hesse (Kassel line) and Elisabeth von Thürngen of St. Elizabeth the Catholic. Church. The relationship to the Hessian landgraves is recorded in the family book Niederwambach / Westerwald 1698-1876, author Charlotte Kickton. As the Hessian landgraves on their mother's side are descended directly from Elisabeth of Thuringia, this woman is one of my ancestors. A very rare genealogical stroke of luck, which I did not explore myself. Indirectly, I have verified this relationship with the publications of the following authors mentioned in the family book Niederwambach. The authors are the renowned historians Carl Knetsch, Wilhelm Alfred Eckhardt and Karl August Eckhardt. Anyone who is interested can query this information with me. Why this exception? I do not mean to give or give an inappropriate attention to me. In recent years, before entering professional life (craftsman apprenticeship), I had the pleasure of being looked after by religious sisters of the Congregation of Saint Elizabeth. An employee of this order fiercely denied that such a relationship can be proven today. Of course, I do not have a real proof of this relationship, but the probability is very high. The condition is that there were no cuckoo children in the ancestral line recorded here. Today, however, that is hardly possible to prove or disprove.
Further relationship to this group of people (from Hesse, etc.) I have deliberately not listed here.
The conventions in this family file:
1.) Unknown persons (spouse) are denoted by NN or nn (no name).
2.) If only part of the name (first name or family name) is unknown then part of the partner name will be inserted in parentheses. This improves the recognizability and family affiliation of the person in name lists.
3.) Family names in brackets are usually the family names of spouses, if their own surname is unknown.
4.) Family names with a dot in front of the name are persons in whom the relationship is suspected, but not yet proven. This concerns in particular the family name KLUDT, since this name (Kludt with "dt") is very rare, a kinship is often not excluded.
By the way, the name Kludt is more common in the US than in the whole of Europe. The majority are proven relatives of the Kludt clan mentioned here. Jörg Brauer
5.) The notes contain many sources. The originally used genealogy program "WinAhnen" could not properly convert the sources entered there into a GedCom file.
6.) In this family file there are still many individuals and unlinked partial pedigrees. This is intentional because I also register people who are most likely related to me. I can not prove the relationship of these persons in any case yet.
9.) On the other hand, links have been lost through a computer crash that I could no longer produce.
